Newtownabbey Health Visitor
So I’m due to be passed onto the health visitors on Thursday but I’ve heard so many horror stories about them. Just wondering if there is anything I should be aware of :)

Of them in particular or HVs in general?
It really depends on the HV-I’m in an area where there has been staff shortages and most have been bank staff but even at that for me in the early days they were invaluable especially as a first time mum. Still now I would phone them before my GP if I have any concerns. Though I would say occasionally take what they say with a pinch of salt-always trust your gut-it’s your baby at the end of the day.
