Sleep deprivation
No matter how much I was told about it there’s just no way to know how tortuous it is until you go through it!
Also the unsolicited advice and digs on parenting choices, commonly from the in laws

The resentment for your partner carrying on life as normal

Sleep deprivation
How much people disappear from your lives when you helped them so much in the past
The being touched out all the time
How fucking judgemental everyone is
How much society is bothered by children's existence
To name a few.

The poop. So much poop. 💩😂

How hard changing a nappy or getting baba dressed is when they can move

Sleep deprivation
The amount of times people say “it’ll get better”
How greasy I’m willing to let my hair get
How little I’ll brush my teeth 🤣
That if I wanted some nights off I should combi feed from the beginning because my baby will not take a bottle
That weaning is a challenge, they don’t just eat

The guilt - people talk about mum guilt all the time, but I never expected to feel guilty for leaving my little one with anyone for 20 minutes just so I can bath and shave the forests off my legs! And how many different types of poo there are - is it mushy/formed/soft/bitty/liquid, then yellow/red/green/light brown/dark brown...I spend at least 50% of my time describing poo!!😂

Having literally 0 time to myself 🙈
