Teen disrespectful
Help my 17 year old daughter totally disrespected me over the holidays. We were at a family gathering and she acted like a complete fool ! She insulted me and then called me and her dad names when it was time to go. She also had the nerve to call me by my first name. She frequently calls other women mom, what the hell!
When confronted by her behavior, she feels that she acted appropriately , so she has yet to apologize. I’m really upset and angry. I’m totally at a crossroads here, I’m counting down to when she leaves for college.

You need to gave a talk with her because she will be 18 soon and you don't have to put up with this behavior i certainly wouldn't
Treat her the exact same way she is treating you, when she gets upset have a heart to heart about how it made you feel and how you guys can move past it

I'm 23 years old without children living at home, but my opinion is usually outburst, it's usually a result of something that's been building. 1) she may have a problem with communication. I sure did 2) She may be going through something and not know how to express it, so it manifests in the wrong way. 3. She might perceive you don't hear her like my mom doesn't understand my boundaries, since I am no longer a child things change for me and but she feels i am rude all the time. But each age is different so you gotta find specifically what it is going on with her
