Does pending motherhood feel surreal?

I’m a first time choice mom/solo mom due this month. I’m excited and nervous but it still feels so darn surreal. It’s hard to wrap my mind around the fact that this is really happening. Anyone else feel this way before their babies arrived? My sister mentioned her daughter’s arrival, and even a bit after, feeling surreal, so maybe it’s just a mom thing! 😊 If you felt this way, when did it start to feel more real? When did you start to feel a little more comfortable & at home in your mom role? Thanks!
