Beginner project

Hi, so I’ve been wanting to learn and get started crocheting but I know my patience is very low but it can’t be as bad as I’m making it out to be I’m open to try it. Anyways, any advice on where/how I should learn and the first simple/easy thing to work on? Any tips for when you were learning if you struggled at all?

Easy was to learn is videos from YouTube. Or a book with visuals simple project like a dishcloth or a scarf.
Big struggle when starting is gauge working to tight or to loose .
