Yes, my health visitor said the same. My LB still wants milk before his nap though so i have just continued to give it him

I have however cut out milk throughout the day. He has 4 meals and snacks twice

She wasn't too concerned that our little boy still has 3 bottles and said even 2 would be fine morning and night but did also mention the vitamins

If they are having 2-3 bottles a day that is fine! Baby drops it if and when they decide to! My daughter has just dropped her day time bottle and has 2 at night, at bedtime and when she wakes for one in the middle, my hv was fine with it, I don't give snacks only meals as I would rather her have 3 meals and milk than snacks, my son completely dropped all bottles by himself at 10 months all babies are different and need it for different reasons... Its not a 1 fits all job like they try and make it, if your baby enjoys their milk and is eating plenty then do what is best for you and your baby and they will drop their bottles when good and ready x And shouldn't be no need for vitamins if drinking milk, and eating 3 meals a day of a variety diet

@Jen well said!! When it comes to my little girl, I go with what she wants and not what society has said to be normal because all babies are different, what might work for someone's baby might not work for you, and that is completely fine. I haven't even tried to cut down on my daughter's milk intake, if she has 3 or 4 bottles a day on top of her 3 meals, then that is fine by me as long as she happy and healthy

Exactly! I've introduced more water/low sugar juices which she has now dropped a bottle but still loves her 2 at bedtime

My triplets have 3 bottles of cows milk a day, one when they wake up one before their nap and one before bed

My baby has 3 7oz bottles and 1 9oz bottle a day as well as 3 meals and snacks in between with 2-3 cups of juice/water. Don’t let a health visitor who has met your baby once or twice determine what is right or wrong, most of the time babies will tell you when they’re ready to do something. My boy is slowly leaving more of the bottle each time and eating more food. Keep doing what you’re doing as long as baby is healthy and happy I bet you’re doing amazing x

I’m still breastfeeding and I had the review a few weeks back. She asked how often I was feeding and I said I still feed on demand but she feeds probably 3-4 times a day then twice or more in the night.. She didn’t say a thing 🙈 Do what you and your baby want! At the end of the day as long as they are also eating & they are healthy & happy why does everything always have to fit in a box to be the correct way? X
