Hello everyone!
I didn’t know I was pregnant until FIVE months.
That being said, unfortunately I didn’t change my lifestyle to ensure the health of my baby.
I am so scared for her health and feel terrible guilt about it daily. I wasn’t a huge drinker, but I did drink. Luckily I wasn’t on any drugs or smoking.
Any advice? My anxiety is through the roof.

I have heard so many stories like that! Honestly if you weren’t binge drinking you are 99.99% fine! Read Expecting Better by Emily Oster. She quotes lots of studies on alcohol consumption and FASD. Also just to make you feel better I looked at tons of data (curiosity) and of mothers who binge drank in pregnancy - daily with more than 6 drinks, only 3-4% of newborns had FASD. So truly a lot of it is extremely black and white here in the us which makes sense but doesn’t mean you need to worry!
Have you done any testing/ultrasounds like your anatomy scan yet?

this truly made me feel so much better. I have looked at her anatomy and got the NIPT test. Doctors said both look great and she looks anatomically correct. Hoping for the best❤️

so great to hear there are others out there like me. So glad your little one is okay! Congratulations!

then don’t worry everything is fine 😊😊😘😘
