Didn’t know I was pregnant

Hi! I’m looking for some mom friends who might’ve had a similar experience. My daughter is 15mo now and I’m still struggling with the trama of her birth. My husband and I were married exactly a month and I gave birth. But I didn’t know I was even pregnant till an hour before she arrived. This stirred a lot of feelings among our conservative family making everything miserable for my husband and I. I’m looking for advice and possibly for others to share their experiences and how they worked through all of the emotions and possible hurt.

So glad you posted Natalie. I just found out i’m pregnant at 5 months. I’m currently going on 6 right now. Definitely scared I didn’t take proper care of my baby during those first five months. I’m also upset I didn’t get a choice in this journey.
Since I found out, I had to get an emergency surgery and am on bedrest. I got a mommy therapist to help with the rollercoaster of emotions.
