I live in east india dock so bright horizons is closest to me it looks ok but I take my son to littleme nursery also east india and i love it so big and interesting . Sorry it’s a little bit further out

Our son went to Bright horizons in Columbus court yard. People were very accommodating and understanding(my son is autistic). They took time to understand his profile and made changes for him. They made freshly made foods, encourage independence. This was reception class. However they have staff coming and going, lots of agency temporary workers. My son had 3 key workers in one year.
My daughter is attending lanterns nursery full time. She started when she turned 1 she’s 15months. The nursery is very basic, no apps, no electronic updates, but I prefer it compared to bright horizons. Staff is not changing and she loves them. She runs in every morning, gives hugs and kisses, bonded with other babies. She’s friends with all of the staff, everyone is very loving. She will be transitioning to year 1 soon( in their terms.) one minus the place really needs to be updated or cleaned properly. But it’s not an issue for me, I guess it builds their immune system lol

Thanks a lot, it’s super helpful ☺️Very reassuring to hear that your daughter loves Lanterns, I think we might end up signing up there too (they have a shorter wait list than Bright Horizons).

Yes, they do. When my daughter started there was 5 babies and now they have 10. But one of the reasons why we went with them is because bright horizons had a very long waiting list. But I’m glad they did to be fair.

My daughter is going to Rise N Shine. She started at 9months and the nursery helped her having a routine. The team is great! They organise a lot of activities and go outside for some walks. Parents have access to an app where they can see food eaten, nappy change during the day. There is a summary of their activities at the end of the day with photos (all private on the app) I am very happy ! My daughter grows so much!! Don’t hesitate to write me if you have questions 🤗

My son goes to Bright Horizons in Heron Quays and he is very well looked after and the staff are the same since he joined it. I was attracted to this nursery because they have different rooms for them to play and a small outdoor area so they don't spend the whole day locked in a room with several other children.
Most nurseries in this area have a lack of space and outdoor.

Hi! I am starting to research the nurseries and chilminders in isle of dogs, does anyone know how long are the waiting lists? I should have registered ages ago 🙊
