If baby seems disgusted it doesn’t necessarily mean they hate it. Babies are new to solids when they first start and will have some kind of reaction to everything
He was like gagging and trying to escape the chair lol..but kept going in for the spoon..I wonder if he was expecting something sweeter like the things I’ve been giving him before
Yeah my son hates all pureed meats but will eat the meat in its regular cooked form when we do blw, so i think it’s probably just the texture and taste that it is in the jar. Once i saw it and smelled it i could see why my son hated it so i just stopped offering it in the pureed form. Definitely doesn’t mean baby won’t like chicken another way!
I got a super organic and home made type of brand which only has chicken and water as ingredients. I smelled and tasted it and it really wasn’t so bad. I will try again tomorrow but have carrots as backup. I’m too scared to do BLW still. I’m thinking around 8 months I’ll start. That’s in a month.
Haha my girl literally shuddered, gagged and immediately exorcist threw up. She definitely didn’t like it either!😂😂
I did baby lead weaning. So I never offered puréed meats. Maybe try boiling, pressure cooking, or slow cooking chicken so it falls apart or makes it easy to dice then serve that and see what he thinks. If he’s used to sweet, add a couple drops of ranch dressing or ketchup. You could also try offering chicken salad, and make sure it is cut up well. Try another form of chicken and then give him a break from it.
I mean, it's kind of gross? Idk, we did BLW so ours hasn't done purees. But yeah, pureed meat doesn't sound all that appealing to me either🙃🤣
