Chart Compatibilities with Parent/Child Relationships

I love doing family synastry, it’s on of the most fascinating types of readings I give. The patterns that we see in family lines just blows my mind. There is definitely an astrological inheritance. But it can also show us things like how each parent will be perceived by the child, what challenges and strengths parents bring to the table, challenges and strengths of our children, and helps us find solutions to any of the obstacles we might face.
My kiddo inherited most of his dads chart, but I see myself there too. For example, Aires energy runs very heavily in my maternal side (the side I was raised by) as in, both my grandparents had Aires moons and my mom is an Aires sun and Aquarius rising, where I am Aquarius sun and Aires moon. My son got the angular Aires Mars, and Venus. The rest of his chart looks a LOT like his dad tho, same rising sign, similar placements in houses.

We can see ourselves in the child’s chart. My son has a Virgo moon, with Libra rising that puts Luna in the 12th. I am definitely very interested in spirituality and “hidden things” of the 12th. I also have a chronic illness which is hidden and that seems very 12th house to me. The earthy nature of the Virgo moon also shows in me as an avid gardener, and one who is concerned with the material as much as the spiritual. Virgo is ruled by Mercury who is the planet of writing, communication, and is a psycho pomp. I am a writer and communicate for a living with astrology and tarot, I am also a doula for all phases of life and have attended several deaths in that capacity.
