Weird request maybe? But I'm looking for longer boy names that could easily shorten to a nickname for everyday use. We want something a little more unusual than traditional names like William, Christopher, Theodore, etc. Avoiding W names if possible. Anyone have ideas?

Sonny / Son as a nickname could be used for any boys name ending in “son” I’d say.
I think any name starting with certain letters sound nice just as the first letter, such as “O” “B” “H” etc.
