Skiing when pregnant

Hey so like you I'm a very confident skier and I wouldn't be worried about myself especially on blue or green runs however what you can't account for is others and having been taken out from behind skiing I can say you can't control things

Personally I wouldn't risk it, I realise that's not what you want to hear as a little skiing holiday sounds so good!

Hey Olga! I’m a confident skier too and I recently went to the mountains but decided I didn’t want to risk it (I was super upset tho). I also realised I would be super paranoid and somewhat tense which is never a good thing.

Also you may not be able to get insurance for winter sports while pregnant

Hey Olga! I had a similar experience / internal debate as recently had a ski holiday booked over NYE, which was booked before I found out I was pregnant. Similar to the ladies above, I avoided skiing more because of the risk of anyone else bumping into me! Skiing can be unpredictable and even the best skiers can have nasty accidents, I thought the risk of skiing & harming myself & my baby wasn’t worth the few days skiing we would have. I had super bad fomo when I was there seeing everyone ski, but it was also really lovely to relax in the mountains ☺️ for the sake of a few days skiing I would give it a miss, there’s plenty more opportunities to ski I’m sure. The regret is something went wrong would be worse than the fomo of not skiing xxx

Sorry to say but I also wouldn’t risk it. It’s unpredictable and like the others say even if you’re really good, someone else around you could make a mistake x
