Don’t be like me. I didn’t know this was a thing. I thought you could only get it while pregnant. Well surprise! It’s rare but it does happen. I gave birth to my daughter 4 weeks early on 1/3/23. Monday I landed back in the hospital declining rapidly and ended up in ICU fighting for my life. I had to have a blood transfusion, multiple bags of IV meds. 3 different IVs in one arm. I had extremely high blood pressure, terrible headache, couldn’t stay awake, couldn’t breathe. I also had pneumonia as well. I became lethargic, and then eventually unconscious. I had to be put on oxygen. Please, if you feel like anything is off in anyway at all seek help! This is real and it is life threatening. I’m just now being moved out of ICU, not quite out of the woods yet. The best thing is that they let me keep my baby with me with my mother present 24/7. Just wanted to share and warn everyone! Thank you!

Wow I didn't know this was a thing. I hope you have a speedy recovery! Can I ask what your symptoms were? Get well soon xx

my legs were extremely swollen from my thighs to the tips of my toes. I had a terrible migraine that wouldn’t go away. I was pale. High blood pressure. Couldn’t stay awake. Lethargic. I also had pneumonia and I think that’s why I had chest pains, shortness of breath, choking.

bless you darling, sending wishes and a fast recovery💗xx
