Maia or Maya
We are torn between these spellings of the same name. We are Hispanic. We are leaning towards Maia, but also considering Maya because most people will spell it like this so she won’t have to constantly be correcting people. But I like that Maia is a little more unique with out being an outrageous spelling of a common name. What do you guys think?

Coming from someone who has a unique name that is very commonly mispronounced and misspelled I would go with Maya. That’s just my opinion! I have to spell my name for people everyday 😂
as someone with slightly different spelling- im always having my name mispronounced, as a child i hated it but now as an adult, i love the uniqueness!! my opinion, use Maia🤍
Maia❤️ My name is unique and I love it. People have given me so much backlash over my daughter’s name, but I’m keeping her name as it is because I know that she will grow to love it. Her name is Isla (eye-la).
I say pick what name u feel more comfortable with and I’m sure it will be perfect!

Maia! I have different name and love it!
I love Isla that I was on our list too. But I had a dream about her and in my dream her name was Maia/Maya so I took it as that was her telling me her name lol. I’m crazy but it feels right lol
