Hi struggling with names for boy.. im half italian and half spanish and my partner doesn’t like any italian name or spanish he says kids will bully him😟

So annoying as he has already 3 kids and mother picked the names.. I don’t want to name him with a name I don’t like or feel close like for me would be strange call him Oisin ..as an example for girls was so easy as many option we agreed like isabella.. but its a boy so what name for boys do you think will be good for both cultures?
I tought Luca
Leon
But not sure I don’t like them too much
I love lorenzo i really love that name but he says one day baby boy will be glad with daddy stopping mommy to calling him Lorenzo 😹 so please some ideas?

Could you choose a which could have a more Anglican nickname, which he can use / the child can, as a compromise? So Matteo - Matt/Matty for example.
As a side note though, ss a teachers who's class if over 50% not of English heritage (lots of children from a Eastern Europe & Portuga) I've never had a child picked on for their name (at primary at least). And we've had a girl called Mann and a boy called Hurr!

Ok so I proposed Antonio as my grandfather’s name but in italy we call them Tony as short for Antonio.. but he says everybody will called him Anto..as here in ireland Anto is short for
antonhy but. I dont really like that nickname at all. So I’ll try to convince him wich i think will not probably work😂 to name the baby just Tony will see..we are almost getting divorce before getting married over the name🤣🤣
He’s too stubborn and me too 😅😅
And also he proposed a lovely name ..irish tough that i never heard before and really original but will see with Tony.

I know he will say no for Tony as i picked Bella for a girl ..but he said Bella was short for Isabella but i just like the name Bella but itself.
🥲🥲🥲
He’s doesn’t really like original names he likes traditional boring names😂😂🥲🥲

Oh blimey, i think we all presumed you were in England or the US. If your partner is Irish then i can imagine this is even harder as some of their names are so beautiful but so different from other English speaking countries!
I'm sure eventually you will find one you both love!

Lorenzo is made fun of in Spanisg, and Enzo rhymes with menso so it’s a no for places with a lot of Spanish speakers

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
