Try having a bunch of chocolate and loads of water.

Talk to a lactation consultant, they can give you some good advice for your specific situation

@Rana does it matter Wich type of chocolate?

How do you know your supply is low? Also, if the supplements and teas you’re taking have fenugreek, that can actually decrease supply for some.

The most effective way to increase milk is to just keep pumping. Look up how to power pump! It will take time and patience but if you stick with it, your milk will come up! make sure you are eating and drinking enough! Also, formula and bottle feeding will negatively affect your supply if you aren't pumping every time you bottle feed! So if you do give a bottle, make sure you pump for at least 20 minutes after! And try to use a bottle with a teet that mimics the breast (pigeon softouch is a great one).

@JJh no not really i just have muesli bars that have chocolate and pump alot it trains ur brain into thinking that ur baby needs more milk and makes more

@Tahli completely agree!! I had a lactation class and the consultant advised to pump after feeding sessions for at least 15 minutes even if you’re not letting down milk. The first few weeks after birth, breast milk is produced by hormones and after that it’s exclusively supply and demand. The more milk you try to pump, the more your body will realize it needs to produce more than it has been.

When I get low, my hope seems to take the best of me and I just pump pump pump. Drink the 5 dollar orfanic mother's milk 3 times a day and eat the pills for it and yes I binge chocolate eat, chocolate cookies, and broccoli and add garlic to your meals, and it takes like 3 days to start noticing a difference for me... and then it starts to flow if you keep consistent

And remember you're doing Great at being a mom 🥰

Following what Janine said^^^! There’s lactation cookies that are a help too. Pumping frequency will start a stimulation & soon will see a difference! Don’t give up 💕

Thank you all so much!!!

Look at Thompsons Breastfeeding method. There's a group on fb and you can get support from trained LCS. There here there's a will there's a way! Good luck x
