Potty training help!!

Any advice on potty training? I'd say hes definitely ready... He gets his potty, takes off his nappy and will sit there's for ages. Problem is he then gets up and pees all over the floor, he will not wee on the potty at all. 🤷

When I trained my firstborn the advice was. Don’t have a nappy on at all. Put on underpants and keep these on all day. I bought a few packs from Primark and just threw away number 2 dirty ones. I trained my boy like that in 3 days. I did day and night at the same time. My second son does not seem to be ready at all so I am not sure when to start but probably will take 2 weeks off work and then start in April. They say that do not leave home for a week at least.

I have just potty trained my little boy. I did it when I could stay at home for a good few days. I kept him naked from the waist down for about 3 - 4 days. The first day, I offered him 3 smarties everytime he got on the potty. By the end of the day, he'd forgotten about the smarties and was just going on the potty himself. Then I went to trousers with no underwear. After about a week, I put underpants on him. He absolutely nailed it tbh. I thought it was going to be awful. But I will say that he did have the odd accident and he dribbled a little bit on his pants in the first week, but that soon stopped. I loosely followed the oh crap method which I just googled.

Yes Sarah this is exactly the same as my boy ! Sometimes he will stand there and wee and laugh as well. So he knows he shouldn't be weeing on the floor .
