Toddler moms

Any one else feel like it’s always a struggle to get your child to eat!! Some days I’m just at my wits end. I’m hoping this is just a phase. My son was not picky when he was 1. Now he doesn’t seem to like much. Or one day he’ll love it and the next he wants nothing to do with it.

Feel the same way. My two older boys was never picky. Now my 2year old only wants to eat breakfast and sandwiches, pizza, kid food u see on kids menu.

I was untill I started giving my daughter gummie vitamins now she eats me out of the house constantly eating

Mine is so difficult to feed! If I’m lucky I can get him to eat some what of a meal once a day, breakfast is the easiest. But other then that it’s really just snacks. With todays food prices I rather get him stuff I know he likes and is gonna eat (healthy or not) then force him to try it eat food that will end up in the trash. I just make the best choices possible. (No dye, less sugar etc)

Totally normal from what I've researched. My mantra has been "I provide the food, she fills her tummy." I try to let her have some input on what I provide for meals, but it is up to her to fill her tummy. I want her to have a positive relationship with food, so if she doesn't want to eat what I provide, that is her choice, but I'm not a short order cook. I don't make individual meals. If she doesn't want what is available for a meal, she can wait til the next one. I make sure she doesn't go to bed hungry and that each meal has a safe food available. If all she eats is 2-3 servings of the safe food, cool, she ate.

Same. I leave her plates out for a while because sometimes she comes back and eats. My pediatrician had always told me, 'They eat when they're hungry'. He said the same about my oldest. She's 7 now and she eats pretty good.
