Anybody here in Jacksonville Florida who goes to a different hospital or prenatal care center other than Shands hospital,who has Medicaid as their insurance ?

did both accept your insurance when you told them you had Medicaid?

I had my baby at ascension st Vincent's. Southside location. Their labor a delivery team is the best. They take good care of you

im currently going through their Riverside location for prenatal care but I’ll deliver at their Southside location. Bc they just shut down L&D at the Riverside location.

I received prenatal care at St Vincent’s riverside and it was a horrible experience. I delivered at Uf health/shands on the north side and it was great for the most part.
There are also some birthing centers in town that accept Medicaid!

If you have sunshine - medicaid Dr. Kahn in Bartram you end up having your baby in Baptist South I loved it

women’s care! they have multiple locations

I have a weird situation I currently have sunshine Medicaid and Georgia Medicaid from being in foster care, so basically, I’m just trying to figure out which one is better for me the Hospital

I go to dr mcdyer at HCA in university
It’s called nort Florida obgyn

I went to a midwife at Lifetree women’s care for prenatal care. Absolutely love it there. She delivers at Memorial hospital and they were amazing too

Idk if anyone mentioned but UF Health North hands down my delivery experience and my doctor was great also Memorial hospital on south side is good as well my doctor was great

Women’s Care, there are multiple locations and they’re always taking Medicaid patients. Most of them require you to give birth at Orange Park Hospital.

I go to woman’s care on university and im giving birth there
