Glastonbury 2023 - 9 month old

We’re taking our baby to Glastonbury this year. Has anyone taken their baby to a festival before and camped? I’m also worried about the long drive and new environment for 5 days.

I haven’t taken a baby to gladto but I have been. Personally, I can’t think of anywhere worse to take a young baby - but people do! Loud (unless you’re off site) very crowded etc… unless you have a very chilled baby I’m not sure how they’d deal with it! Saying that, there is a family field and lots of activities for kids!

Ravertots is made for kids maybe try that first x

I'm going to be taking my baby to a car show in April. We have bought him baby ear defenders from Amazon to wear x

Sorry no advice but just wanted to say I’m super jealous! We tried for tickets and our little one will be 9 months at the time too. Of the 2 family camps Wicket Ground is secure with a perimeter fence so I was going to stay there. Little ear defenders, take it easy and slow, you got this!

AlpineHearing do baby ear defenders.. haven’t used them yet but found them recommended

Love this! Baby wearing will be your best friend so look into a good supportive carrier for you back. maybe look into some headphones for the baby too for in loud environments. Plenty of people do it, just be well prepared with snacks etc you'll be grand. There's lots of kid friendly spaces at Glasto too for some respite. Have the most amazing time, you'll look back and ve so glad you had that experience 😀

We took Seth to a festival at 6 weeks old.. we all loved it :-) as long as you have enough nappies food and shade they are pretty robust 😀
