32+5 ready for a glass/bottle

The end is near and I’m so excited for my first glass of wine in 10 month! How do I go about having a glass or two while breastfeeding? Please say it’s doable

You can express your milk first and then have a drink :) or bottle feed!🤣 I personally can’t wait to have a drink lol x

Last time my midwife basically said not to worry unless you are getting absolutely smashed , and in which case you probably shouldn't be in charge of baby anyways 😅 but yeah you can have a few and BF ☺️

@Georgia how much milk would I have to express prior? Like 24hrs worth? I keep looking at all my old summer photos that consist of glasses of wine 😂😂

@Diana after 10month who knows, even the smell of it might get me smashed 😂 so I should be fine to drink and then feed same day?xx

@Jodie I’ve honestly no idea hun! I know the feeling! I miss my summer outfits 😩😂x

Same here, due 24th of March so end is insight and can’t wait to have some wine 🍷 missing it 😅

@Georgia I have a breastfeeding workshop in a couple weeks so will ask then. Honestly same, I just miss clothes in general. I live in jarmies or joggers so never see the point in getting ready. I’m excited to feel somewhat normal again xx

@Paulina Honestly even just a sip 😂 I’m picturing nice warm days with a ice cold glass of wine 😂😂

@Jodie Not long now and we will have our wine 🍷 😂 much needed 🤣x

@Jodie I’m exactly the same, got this picture in my head and can’t wait! 🍷Plus summer is coming and I’m off on maternity until Jan next year so planning to enjoying it and of course time with baby😍

I’m too missing my normal clothes!! 😅 can’t wait to get back in them 😁

@Georgia when are you due?xx

@Paulina I’m also off till January so excited that I get pretty much the entire year. So exciting xx

@Jodie I’m actually overdue! 41 weeks today 😭x

@Georgia omg! Any day now then. Any signs?xx

@Jodie do you know what you’re having or surprise? We are awaiting a little girl 💖

@Jodie I’ve had the odd bit of cramping, think things are just going very slow for me 🤣 will be induced some point this week which is exciting😁 Hope everything goes well for the rest of your pregnancy :) x

@Georgia omg 41 weeks! Hope the baby arrives soon!! Good luck 😊

@Paulina definitely will be. I’m so excited to be able to spend the year with him. We’re having a boy, I don’t know how people keep it as a surprise I’m too nosey 😂 Aw lovely, do you have a name?xx

@Georgia fingers crossed not much longer. Thankyou xx

@Paulina thanks hun, good luck also :) x

@Georgia thank you darling x

@Jodie exactly! 😊 yeah I’m the same wouldn’t be able to wait until birth 😅 that’s lovely, got name picked? Yes our little girl will have names after both grandmas Natalia Joanna 💖 I’m 36 +3 today and can’t wait for her to be here already!!

@Jodie I’m having a boy too! 🥺💙

Yeah it’s completely doable. I got some breast milk test strips from Amazon, I’d suggest them as you can have one glass and see there is still zero alcohol in your milk. Just made me feel better tbh

@Jodie it takes an hour for one unit to leave the body. I didn’t drink at all after my first, mainly because I was so anxious but did after my second. My midwife said as long as you feel safe to drive a car, you can feed your baby.
