inhixa injection / blood thinners

Hi, has anyone else been on these injections? Any tips to stop them bruising, leaving red marks under the skin and stinging when injecting them?!

These are by far the worst injection I’ve ever done out of them all 🙈

Sorry, no advice other than ice the area, ensure you inject at 90 degrees and leave the needle a little longer at the end. I have had to use them a lot and they are just terrible bruisers. Not every time but they do make your tummy a fetching black/blue colour!

thank you for replying ❤️
I have been trying these things but they haven’t helped yet 🙈, wondering if the icing is making it worse now though! The needle is sooo blunt too on all of them! The first one was a dream other than a bit of stinging after but the last 3 have been awful I’m really bruised and tender 😫

I'm on these post c section and the needles are huge and so blunt :(

The hospital told me to put them in the arm or leg. I find the top of the thigh by the knicker line is the easiest, where the skin is soft and a bit fatty. If I slowly insert the needle and slowly inject it doesn't bruise here. (I still have lumps and bruises on arms from weeks ago....!) Try that. ✌️💪
