Tyler, TX

Any Catholic Mamas in Tyler, TX? We are likely moving to the area in the next year and it will be our home for the foreseeable future. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Catholic atmosphere of the area. I have heard great things about the Diocese of Tyler so I'm excited to get involved. My husband and I currently have one bouncy two year old boy and he has family in East TX but all my family and friends are back home in AZ so looking to build our village so to speak, haha. Would love to hear opinions on local daycares, schools, Catholic Pediatricians/family doctors, and OBGYNS as well as thoughts on the different Parishes and neighborhoods. Hope to meet some new faces soon!

My friend works for the diocese of Tyler. I went to the pines catholic camp as a kid that’s in that area. I’ve heard good things.

I’m close! Not in Tyler, but Shreveport. It’s definitely a more Baptist/Protestant area than it is a Catholic one, but I’ve also heard great things about the diocese of Tyler. My mom’s cousins have lived there for decades, and they love it. It’s a great mid size city with lots to do that still feels like a small town.

In Chandler, Tx. I love my tyler diocese! My doctor is a DO and practicing Catholic. The hospital here is great, Trinity Mother frances. Lots of stuff to do here. Catholic Schoolhouse, Catholic homeschooling group/s, etc. Dm me for more if you want
