Klara or Clara?

I would be naturally inclined to spell it with a K (Slavic/Scandinavian way) but wonder if it would be perceived as a bit try hard or 'common' in the UK and if it would be better to go with the C spelling....

Both my girls are with K's so I say Klara🙂

I think it is really special to honor your heritage by spelling the name in a traditional way. Go with Klara if that is meaningful to you. It’s no harder to pronounce and easy enough to correct if needed.

I had an exchange student named Klara in high school. She was from Croatia 🇭🇷 . I like that spelling but I hated our American pronunciation of it though lol
