I started reading coffee & covid because Jeff Childers does a great job covering most of the critical nationwide stuff, without getting too down.
He's a lawyer out of Florida and often has uplifting messages as well. I avoid most other sources (unless I'm searching for a story).

I listen to James Corbett’s podcast. He’s super smart and honest, maybe a little dry and nerdy but I find it endearing, but more importantly he doesn’t get dramatic or fear-monger at all. I hate listening to people who afterwards make me feel like it’s hopeless and we’re screwed. It’s easy to fall into that.
