Weaning

Why does it seem so hard to wean my little guy from formula. He eats solids, but not always a lot of lunch or supper. So he's hungry for nap time and wants a bottle.. should I just give him milk? We are also trying to wean night feeds. I mean of course we will feed him if he's hungry. But does anyone have pointers they used? Or will be be fine and it's just all in my head haha!

I’m following because I’m lost too lol. Mine is breastfed but I wish she would just refuse it and make it easier!

Some are slowly transitioning to whole milk (mixing with formula/breastmilk if bottle feeding) but I haven't started yet. Still 2.5 cans to get through.

I just slowly started reducing formula a oz at a time till I used all my formula up and he was almost completely on cows milk then when used up all formula switched to cow at the end it he was only on 2 oz formula and 6oz cow he has 3 bottles and in morning with breakfast a straw cup with 4oz milk and once in. While another bottle at night I found to stop night feeding had to try and get him eating more food during the day but sometimes that still doesn’t work
