@Emily you can make his schedule 15 minutes earlier everyday until he gets to the desired time that you would prefer.
That’s a great idea! Thank you! I feel like 8 is a crazy late dinner, but when bed time is so late it’s really not
We have the same schedule except my son's wake up time varies every day, between 8.30 am - 10.30 am. I also feel bad but this schedule works best for me at this time. It will change once he starts daycare so it's ok. 🙂
@Amalia I feel better knowing I’m not the only mom with a crazy late schedule.
My little girl gets up between 10/10:30 and bedtime is 10:30. It works for us now but I have a baby due in September so would like to push bedtime back to like 9/9:30 so I have help from the hubby for bedtime
I have a late schedule. But my daughter wakes up at 10:30-11
@Carol what time is her dinner and bed time?
Bedtime is 9:30 or 10. And dinner at 7:30 or 8
There’s nothing wrong with your schedule, if it’s working for your family! It sounds like your son is getting enough sleep - if it’s the late dinner that you mostly want to shift, you could try a little evening snack or adjusting other meals and snacks slightly without necessarily changing bedtime. You’re definitely not a bad mom!! ❤️
@Tina thank you for that! Meal times are a struggle right now. Tantrums too lol. Meal time is a whole mood. I know he’ll eat when he’s ready, but oh my goodness it makes me anxious.
Just know your kicking ass at this mama thing! Trust me on that. Your a great mama, trust in that!
@Dela Adalyne Ochoa might have tears, thank you 🥹
We have a late schedule also, always have. She used to go to bed around 10-11 lol and never got enough sleep as a “baby” I felt horrible. But she is a bad sleeper. We stay home so I felt as long as she got sleep and her wake windows worked then I didn’t care about the time she went to bed. She now goes to bed at 9-930 and wakes around 8-830 with 60-90 min nap a day. So she is doing better and her dinner is around 6-630. With a snack close to bed.
@Kathryn you get it! Thank you for sharing…. I love knowing I’m not alone ❤️

@Emily no problem, we have to do what works for us!
I’d like him to wake up around 7:30 so we can have dinner around 7-7:30 for daddy’s sake, but it keeps transitioning back. I just don’t want to feel like a bad mom
