Car seat

Didn't put the car seat until my due date, and car seat was required before we could discharge

Im putting mine in as soon as I get it tomorrow.

I want get my car detailed cleaned and the oil changed so I plan on putting it in closer to 36 weeks :)

Wondering the same thing! 34 weeks & wondering if I should wait til I’m closer

As soon as I get a chance to get it inspected by the local PD or FD for safety!

I’ve had mine installed since 29 weeks I think but I’m scared of not being prepared so

@JL I don’t know that they do it anymore. You want to visit safekids.org for a certified child passenger safety technician. Also if you have IG you can follow @safeintheseat she’s amazing!

Someone bought our car seat so I won’t get it until April 14th. I’ll be 35 weeks

@Melissa ours does! Our hospital also has a car seat clinic a few times a year where they have teams there to check it. It's so helpful!

You can wait to 36 weeks, but if you know you may give birth between 34-36 then install it 🤗

I’m about 33 weeks, my mom got my car seat for me last weekend for my shower and we installed it this weekend, because we have never installed one before. And now we’re gonna keep it in there🤣.

For my first I did it about 36-37 weeks. I also packed my hospital bag then. I had no complications other than diet controlled GDM. But I was first time mom and nervous as heck. I Plan to do the same for this baby. This time around I am managing gallstones so I know if I have a bad episode I’ll end up getting induced so I can get gallbladder surgery. End of the day do what makes you feel comfortable!
