Travelling with a 10 week old (Ryanair)

I am bringing my 2 month old son with me on a flight and was curious if he's allowed his own bag along side the other people on the booking as well as if im allowed to bring medicine like calpol, tub of formula milk and a flask with hot water for his milk.

I know I'm allowed to take a foldable pushchair and another small item of baby equipment but I can't find anything on the rules about medicine, formula milk or water for a baby (i know you can usually only take 100ml containers but is this different for baby food?)

Hey I have always taken calpol in my handbag. I’ve been flying internationally and never had a problem. I have always been able to take food for him too but never water/milk. He was breastfed so I never tried milk. But I have seen other mums take dry formula. Hope that helps a little x

Also, you’ll be given the option to check in the buggy or gate check it. I always gate check it so that I can take it all the way upto plane doors & get it back as soon as I get off so I’m not carrying the bags n baby around the airport. You’ll still need a different kind of tag for gate checking and they’ll give u that either at checking in or at boarding gates

I took 200ml ready made formula on both flights with my 2 month old. No problem.
Folded buggy with car seat attached and checked in the carry cot.
Not sure about a bag for infant as we took priority with 2 bags and all her stuff was in the 10kg suitcase and I had a back pack.

Yes, you can take medicines, formula and water.
I traveled with baby with Ryanair same age and I took her buggy and her hand luggage, a backpack.
Regarding food i took 4 bottles of ready made and also powder milk in hand luggage as you never know with checked bags.
The only thing that made me leave behind was the sudocrem so had to buy one in Boots that day.

Also I suggest to check the airport where you are flying from as last year was announced that the rule of 100ml was going to be scrapped.

You can take as much food as you want , also the medicine , I took my 2 months on holidays right after the vaccine so I took medicine with me , gripe water, nappy cream , formula , 1L of hot water.
Also you allow to take one bag for baby , plus car seat/trolley for free.
