Baby lotion after a bath baby cries like he’s really uncomfortable
After the bath we have tried some massage with some dove baby night lotion but he screams and cries like it’s hurting him. I don’t know whether it’s the cold lotion, the smell or hurting his skin. I can’t see anything on his skin that suggests he’s reacting to it. Does anyone else’s baby do this?
I have to pick him up and cuddle him as he gets himself into a right state

You should try maybe through the day to massage him see if he still cries my little boy will cry when I lotion him after the bath xx
What I do and my baby likes it, is that just before I put her in the water I massage organic coconut oil on her body top to toe, then wash her just with clean water. She comes out from the bath with nice and hydrated skin even though the water is quite hard 😊 I did buy Dove lotion as well before she was born but the coconut oil works very well.
You could try organic coconut oil instead. Also sometimes my baby cries after a shower cause he’s been having too much fun inside and doesn’t like to be taken out lol. Then he cries a bit after cause he’s sleepy
