Trigger warning : sexual abuse/suicide

Hi just a bit of back story My husband confided in me when we first met about childhood sexual abuse which happened on three separate occasions. Until this point he had never opened up to anyone about it. And he told me he would never tell his parents as there’s nothing they can do and the persons have likely all passed away now anyway. Between that and his sisters passing at a young age, he has turned to alcohol and attempted suicide several times. He’s really quite a fragile and vulnerable soul, bless him. He then just told me that he told his dad over the phone last night. Then I imagien his dad has told his mum. Of course they were going to be so shocked by all of this! Possibly even blaming themselves. I had been texting his mum earlier in the day yesterday about our plans for Easter and I haven’t heard back from her ever since I’d been informed his dad had been told the news. I want to reach out but no idea what to do. Or say or anything. Any suggestions or insight will be hugely appreciated x
