Only just found out my LG has got eczema and been told by the doctor to stop using her bubble bath and lotion (Johnson’s).
What can I use instead that would be suitable for her?

Salcura bath milk. The rescue cream is amazing, my LG doesn’t have many flare ups and we do not use steroid cream due to this brand being so so good

Try some emollient washes and creams

LO with eczema here too and we haven’t found any bubble baths suitable. They’re all very drying. We don’t use it anymore, has a bath or shower 2x a week that’s helped massively with skin dryness. Most washing products will cause skin to dry so you can just use water to wash with or get an ointment we use hydromol you can use it in the bath and post bath. It does make them very slippery though!

We just use the cream that my little one uses daily for his eczema. I also mix it into the water to soften it as well as using it to wash his body then apply again immediately after drying him. We use shampoo once a week and the other 2 times we just wash his hair with water before adding his cream to the bath (otherwise the cream makes his hair greasy). Only has a bath 3 times a week as bathing every day dries his skin out loads!

We use Childs farm baby bubbles which has been great. He baths most days it doesn’t dry his skin out and has a lovely tangerine scent ☺️

Nala’s baby range is amazing

my little girl is 14 months and I’ve only just found out today. Originally went to the doctors 2 weeks ago about dry patches she had on her legs for a month or so and no cream was working, the doctor told me it was a fungal infection and prescribed some steroid cream ( I knew it wasn’t but took the advice) then went back today and saw a different doctors who said all along it’s been eczema🤷🏻♀️. Honestly there’s no harm in getting them checked out, maybe even popping down to the chemist

We use Aveeno Baby for both bath and body lotion and it works wonders. My daughter seems to flare up on her back and neck when we don’t use it, have tried other brands but they don’t seem to do anything. A few days of Aveeno every night before bed and it’s gone x
