Postpartum headaches

Hi! I’ve been experiencing almost every day 😕 With paracetamol stops, but is a little bit annoying… I think could be hormones

Did you have an epidural at all? A long lasting headache can be a side effect x

yeah I have this!! so frustrating as i’m always drinking loads of water and paracetamol does nothing 😅

Are you breastfeeding? I always get pretty bad headaches when I’ve not drank as much water as I should. BF can dehydrate you really easily!

Yes, I did!

I’m just over 3 weeks postpartum and getting headaches everyday! I just put it down to being anxious and stressed everyday 🤣 x

I’d speak to your midwife or gp as it looks like it’s one of the epidural side effects

yes! i feel like it’s because of lack of sleep and not drinking water enough x

If you had an epidural then speak to doctor or a midwife. Can be a side effect from that and it needs to be checked. I had it with my daughter but not this time with my son x

I also had this after giving birth for a week, then when I managed to get proper sleep it stopped. I didn’t have an epidural
