Delayed cord clamping . Opinions
Hi there!
I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby and wondering about delayed cord clamping. I feel as if I am going to go the route of having the baby breastfeed and skin to skin before they cut the cord but would like some insight into what others have done. :) thanks

I plan on delaying preferably until the cord stops pumping. It’s common practice to delay at the birth center I’m going to. Im sure you know all the benefits since you are thinking about delaying, the only downside is an increased risk for jaundice which typically isn’t harmful and can happen anyway.
I did read about the increase of jaundice but I feel like if they feel that’s an issue they will let me know ?.
