Adhesion

My son was circumcised back in September using the Mogan Clamp method… since then he has had an 80% adhesion that was corrected back in March, now we are going for a second correction on Friday (not nearly as attached as the first one). Has anyone else experienced this with their boys?
The urologist says that my son has a lot of fatty tissue around his pubic area which causes his penis to have a buried effect… I’ve been advised to pull the skin back and apply Vaseline every diaper change but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I’m starting to feel defeated and that I’m doing something wrong….
Has anyone else experienced this ?

Hey mama! Im pretty sure my son has this issue too…
He was circumcised at 4 months and it didn’t go too well as he bled a lot! He is now 27 months old and the still occasionally bleeds
What did they do to correct the adhesion?
My son has a buried penis too, unfortunately I think it’s too late to push his fat back? I wasn’t told this at the time…

Can I ask what it looked like when you had to go back to correct the circumcision? I think my son might need to get corrected bc it’s always buried. I try to push it back but seems like it doesn’t help?

we haven’t corrected it either…
It’s buried into his fat, it’s literally just his penis head (don’t know the correct term) buried into his fat…
I push it back and it looks better then but it doesn’t last long at all, goes back to it being buried.
It’s something I worry about all the time, I would never forgive myself if he would need correction
What does it look like for your son?

The best way to explain it would be like pigs in a blanket.. I try pushing it back too but it doesn’t stay that way. We’re going to his dr on Tuesday and I’ll be discussing with him whether we should go to see a specialist .. I hope it’s ok but this is my first baby and idk how it’s supposed to look like

that’s how mine looks. I’ve just had my 2nd little boy circumcised and his looks soo different to my firstborns.
My firstborn doesn’t have any foreskin, they used the same methods as yours, whereas for my 2nd son we did the plastibell method…
If you don’t mind, can you let me know what the doctor says? Would be interesting to hear the outcome as I think our sons have the same issue?

Sleeping position?

Does anybody else’s newborn sleep in an odd position? Or can anyone tell me why my baby does this? It looks super uncomfortable and no matter how many times I readjust him he goes back into this same position. He favourites the left side as well, he never does this on the other side.

MIL not listening

Just looking for a bit of advice. I'm really lucky to have a "village" and once a week my MIL watches the baby (10 wk), so I can shop/nip to the gym etc. The only problem is she doesnt feed her. Ill have expressed ready to go or formula as back up but she never feeds her.
My LO tends to cluster feed a little on a morning as shes a decent night sleeper, but only really cries at desperation - she puts her hand in her mouth or grunts as early warnings. Ive told MIL this, and asked her to feed when she sees it. Ive tried saying "she was fed 30 mins ago, she'll want another in half hour", but she never does.
Yesterday I explained shed been really hungry and hadnt expressed much as shed fed so much I hadnt had chance, said to give her a little formula as she'll want it in about 45 mins. I got home 3 hours later and asked how much shed eaten.
"Oh, nothing, she had a little cry but we distracted and she went to sleep. She'll probably be starving when she wakes up".
She was starving. And then had both sides (which she doesnt normally do) and ended up more refluxy and messed up her timings all night, so she woke up more through the night (not ideal as we have an event today).
I dont wanna fall out as I'm grateful for the help but I'm running out of things to try. My husband is on my side and wants to tell her not to come if she just wants her "to sleep" and not actually look after her. Any advice??

When did you switch from bassinet to buggy

My baby is 4 and half months old and is already rolling over , he’s a curious little bean and loves to watch people and in the bassinet that’s hard for him to do , wondering if it’s time to switch it over to the pram attachment and have it reclined so he still has back support , ftm here so any advice is appreciated

Bottle for Breastfed baby

Tips on how to get breastfed baby to take a bottle? My LB currently only feeds using a shield (we use MAM) and he would always take a bottle (MAM) previously but I got lazy and stopped using it for a while and now he’s refusing😅 I’m going out in a couple of weeks so really need him to take to it again😅 any tips greatly appreciated x

First time mom issues

Ever since I became a mother, I get criticized for almost everything.

I breastfeed, and I constantly hear that “breast milk doesn’t fill the baby up” and that I should give formula.

I’m currently unable to work, and I hear things like, “This is America people don’t stay home with kids, put the baby in daycare,” even though I’ve applied and haven’t been approved yet.

My child feels safe enough to be herself when I’m around, and somehow that turns into, “The baby is too clingy you need to put her in daycare.”

When my baby cries, I drop everything to comfort her, and I’m told I shouldn’t do that because I’m “making her clingy.”

I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a mother, but God chose me to be this child’s mother, and I intend to give her all my love, care, time, and dedication. It is my mission.

I pray to God every day.

The life I imagined didn’t happen, but I am grateful for what I’ve learned in these past four months.

I’ve learned to speak softly. I’ve learned patience.

What more could I ask for?

Every day, I just thank God for sending me my little honey bun. 💛
