Help! Overheating baby in car seat
We have the Nuna car seat and my LO just screams bloody murder in it now. He’s eleven weeks old and this just started. It’s also now 80+ degrees and I think he’s getting too hot in there. What can I do to help him stay cool?
The ac is on full blast and he’s in a onesie.

Are you cooling the car before placing the baby?
Silly question but is he still using an infant insert? It could be too snug for him now and that's why he's so agitated. You'll know he's hot by checking the back of his neck. If it's sweaty and hot then he's getting too hot.
Put him in a vest and put a fan on him. I also use an ice pack and wrap it in a light cloth and put it under his legs so it keeps him cool.
They also have these things now that you hook to the car vents and place it by the car seat so baby can feel the air

It’s not a silly question because this is exactly why he was causing such a fuss! That and I think being too hot. We took another ride tonight and he was better after we took the infant insert out, got the car extremely cool and placed him in his diaper.
