Guinea pigs or other rodents while pregnant?!
Is it safe to handle Guinea pigs ? I might be pregnant, well at least we are trying. And at the same time I wanted to get Guinea pig a while back and it is happening. But then I was reading all kinds of scary stuff on the internet. So how is it in real life ? Anyone has rabbits/rats/Guinea pigs while pregnant despite the danger?

There's always a chance of catching something from an animal but it's uncommon. So long as you keep up your personal hygiene while handling them and also keep them and their living space clean, you should be fine.
