Vinted question

Not baby related but just wondering if people have found it worth while selling stuff on Vinted? I've brought stuff but I am just wondering if selling is a hassel or worth the money coming in? Anyone experienced any issues with selling?

Looking to make some extra cash as it's been such a struggle since going back to work and in the current economy and wondering this is the way how!

Thanks 😊

I’ve found it really easy to sell on vinted and I’ve made a good amount of money selling my old stuff! It’s really easy to use once you get the hang of it and you can turn off some delivery options if you don’t have them near you or they don’t feel convenient to you.

Yes, if you have good stuff to sell. I found it either has to be new with tags or very cheap. New shoes that don’t fit anymore after pregnancy were my bestsellers so far

I sold some stuff on Vinted in the past, but I didn’t find it worth really. It does take some time to take photos of the items, then write descriptions (with books also typing in the long ISBN number), back in the days there was also need to print a barcode before posting it (a struggle for someone who doesn’t own a printer). I think now you don’t need to print barcodes so that makes things easier. Packaging - I didn’t have any boxes/envelopes at home so had to purchase it. Trip to drop off points (fine if staying at home but if working it can be a challenge to find time for it). I wanted to make some extra cash but it didn’t end up this way (I earned maybe Ā£100 spread over few months). Depends what you’d be selling for me it was books so very cheap stuff (around Ā£2 per book) and just regular clothes, not expensive ones.
The items I don’t need now I donate to charity shop can’t be bothered with Vinted. I know few people who made some money and they're happy with selling on Vinted.

So easy to sell on vinted…and definitely worth it if you have some good bits to sell ā˜ŗļø
I was a bit dubious about it all to begin with and thought it wasn’t going to be worth it…but I’ve sold soo much stuff now that would of just been handed down to family or popped in a charity bag…you don’t really get a lot for things (unless it’s new with tags) but nice to have a little something back ā˜ŗļø

I have soooo many baby clothes to sell but i just can't get the motivation to start. My sister has sold clothes and console games etc and has made a nice sum for her holiday spends. I just can't be arsed right now šŸ˜…

I use it all the time and have sold lots too, people want things very cheap mind. But the money j make buys new things for baby x

I’ve made about Ā£300 so far selling my little girls clothes that don’t fit any more. I leave it in my balance to purchase her next size up.

I sell shoes on eBay on auction (got like Ā£20 for baby crocs plus 3.5 shipping) and I prefer it because people know in advance what I’m charging for shipping. I tend to get more that way but bundles of clothes are easier on Vinted or Facebook marketplace.
