I take Benadryl. I can’t not my reactions are too strong. I took piriteze before and noticed a lot less movement. This wasn’t my own GPs advice but a private GP through my insurance that I can take my regular antihistamines as the risks of not taking them are higher.

Thank you x

I take loraradine once a day. That’s non drowsy and pregnancy safe ☺️

Is it the chlorphenamine maleate one? Xx

Maternity department advised I can take the 4mg Piriton though my husband had to go get it for me. My GP wouldn't prescribe me anything as it is their personal policy not to prescribe any antihistamine tablets to pregnant women 🙄 only nasal sprays. Pharmacies won't sell antihistamines to pregnant women without prescription.

@Zoey whenever I’ve spoken to pharmacist about anything I can have in pregnancy they’ve said they won’t give me anything without a prescription either and feels like a waste of time getting a prescription from GP for something that anyone can normally buy but just need to know what one x

I spoke to a pharmacist but they was useless wouldn’t give me anything until I spoke to my midwife but my midwife told me to go to a pharmacist and I phone gp but they forgot to put me through a prescription so now I’m having to wait :( my face feels like it’s going to flare up x
