Travelling with baby
I am going abroad with my 5 month old. Does my husband need to give me a consent letter to take our daughter abroad?

I travelled with my baby alone, I took her birth certificate as we have different surnames (felt so wrong to need proof she is mine) but they never even asked for it anyway
I was asked for my certificate on landing - but I was travelling alone and we have different surnames. I felt a bit angry being asked to prove myself at first but if it stops a child being snatched then so be it :)

No it was only returning to the UK but they could have I guess. Best to carry it with you. I’m sure if a parent was on some sort of criminal list then it would flag when passport was scanned 🤷🏻♀️
