I ran out of my high dose folic acid 2 days before turning 12 weeks, asked my midwife if it was worth refilling it, she said no 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm taking pregnacare instead which has a little bit in it anyway until my next appointment

My midwife said folic until 12 weeks. And then pregnacare following that xx

I found out at 6 weeks and took folic acid for the first few days then was advised to swap to pregnacare, I'm now 12 weeks and have been told to continue with it the whole way through x

I was told to stop at 12 weeks and then for the reminder take pregnancy multivitamins

Dang we suppose to stop at 12 weeks oops Ive been takin it still I’m 15 week on Wednesday isn’t it suppose to help prevent birth defects right ? I think it’s okay to still take because the baby isn’t fully developed still idk lol ima ask my doctor 😂

My midwife advised me to keep taking it through the whole pregnancy and take vitamin D (I think she said D) I currently take pregnacare max so asked how long I needed to stay on it for. X

Amazing thank you all, i will switch to the pregnacare now👍🏼

My midwife told me to stop taking folic acid at 12 weeks, she never said anything about pregnacare?! 🤯, im 12+4 and still taking my folic acid I genuinely just don’t want to stop 😂 it scares me! xx

@Courtney yeah I’ve been on the 5mg folic acid, maybe I’ll change over to pregnacare instead then now xx
