Money on maternity leave

Hi all, Is there any ways to claim a bit more money while on Mat leave? I’ve tried applying for the sure start maternity grant but me and my partner are not on any type of benefit so not eligible, is there anything for people who aren’t on benefits of any kind, we’re struggling with money!
