Where are the Black mothers in Central Jersey?

I’ll just say it. I’m black and live in Central Jersey. My town in particular is predominantly white. My husband is white. His family is great but they live further away. My family lives in Florida. I work over an hour away and my work friends live in other parts of Jersey that are not nearby. I’ve lived here for 4 years and have no local friends. My neighborhood is surburban with families that have children close in age to my toddler. I’ve tried to make the best of things but the white mothers in my town are just not that friendly and i feel like an outsider. This includes those in my son’s daycare. I took him to a park today and the two white mothers who were there pointedly ignore me and my son although we were right next to them. Not even saying hello. I don’t want him growing up feeling that he’s different from those around him because of his skin color. I don’t want to be a separatist but at this point i just feel the only solution is to befriend other black moms if i can find them. Where are the black mothers of Central Jersey and can you take me under your wing?

Shoot I’m white in a prodominatley white/Hispanic town and the moms still make me feel like an outsider lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ maybe cause I’m younger than most of them? Maybe cause I don’t have a bunch of designer clothes ..maybe they think I’m ugly who the hell knows lol

Where are you located? I know I can’t relate from the minority viewpoint (although I am Jewish), but I had a similar experience at a playground recently and it made me feel ick. Lol. I just wish I could meet some nice people!!! I live in Frenchtown area. Feel free to PM me :)
