Postpartum Outfits

You will be sick of me posting soon!!😂 just looking ahead and with me being off work and not getting my usual income I’ve been thinking about outfits/things to wear after baby, should I buy a big bulk of things now??? I obv don’t know what size I’m going to be but just wondering what other mums have done / wish they had done especially with such a big wage cut

I found a jumpsuit I loved from H&M pre pregnancy and it came in in loads of different colours so just live in those now. Super light weight and comfy and be find foe post baby as lots of space or can style with waist belt once bump starts to reduce 😊

I only bought a few things, and did it gradually. Initially I wore pregnancy clothes because they were comfortable, then more of my old clothes. The biggest challenge was sorting nursing outfits. I just gave up wearing anything that didn’t allow for easy breast access.

I might treat myself to a dress or top that shows off cleavage this time though 😅 I figure the first 6 months of nursing will be the best cleavage I ever have. Gotta enjoy it!

@Kayla too right treat yourself!!

I’ve tried to mostly buy maternity clothes that will also work post partum, and have bought a few floaty dresses - I figure if they fit at 8 months pregnant they’ll be okay afterwards (plus will be comfy in the heat). Then will be living in trackies, leggings and loungewear otherwise :p

I’ve bought some shirred summer dresses as they are easy to whack a boob out but also not tight anywhere and will hopefully be good throughout the summer
