Help or any ideas

Hey all so my boy is three weeks old soon and will cry as soon as I put him down, will cry when I put him to sleep in his Moses basket, each night he’s sleeping on my chest and I just don’t know what else to do, any suggestions, I am getting sleep but lying like a log every night isn’t comfortable. The first two weeks he was fine it’s only the last couple of days/ nights he’s been like this.

Our little boy is four weeks old and can be the same. It’s hit and miss though - eventually he will go down so I keep trying! The key seems to be to make sure he has had a *really* good feed, then make sure he has had time to get into a deep sleep before attempting the transfer. Also we sometimes warm his Moses basket or Snuzpod with a hot water bottle before putting him in it so that there isn’t the temperature shock of moving from our warm arms to a cold bed! When making the transfer, we move him very slowly and put his lower body down before his head. Oh, and we use swaddle bags at bedtime so that he feels “held” and secure. Good luck!

We do the same as Sophie. My little one doesn't want to go back in her next to me after her 5/6am feed, so I take her in my bed and make sure we do safe cosleeping. I love it, but I'm also still not pro cosleeping as I'm still scared lol.

Currently lied with my little girl on me for the same reason 🤦🏻‍♀️ she usually goes down after her 1am feed, like you it’s usually the 4am but tonight she’s having none of it 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ xxx

You could also try putting an item of your clothing in his Moses basket so it smells of you when he gets in, that’s worked really well for us 😊 x
