My baby is 4 months, he will nap mid morning, midday a longer nap to early afternoon (can be up to 3 hours), late afternoon and then bedtime between 7-8ish :)
I read midday from 12-3pm is when napping is most beneficial for them as our natural circadian rhythm allows deeper sleep at this time of day so babies will often have a longer nap then
He naps every 1.45 - 2 hours
My son is 17 weeks so over 4 months now and has 3 naps a day, sometimes a very short cat nap waking no later than 5:30pm before bedtime between 6:30pm and 7pm. Nap times are 8:30am (1.5 hours to 2 hours), 11:30am (2 hours ideally) and last one at 3 or 3:30pm. I'm trying to transition him into the 4 hour routine where he only has 2 two hour naps (9am and 12 noon) and an afternoon cat nap at 4pm. This is all from the baby whisperer book if you want tips and advice on a solid routine. I started this from 4 months with my older daughter and worked well. I started it from birth for my son and currently not noticed the 4 month regression but that may change! I hope that helps or works for you, it really was a life saver for me xxx
We do feed, play and sleep, 1 nap in the morning, 1 after lunch and 1 at tea time. Sometimes she will wake play for a little then go back to sleep. She’s 15 weeks.
