Autism spectrum

My MCHN thinks my 2.5 yr old has red flags for being on the ASD spectrum and now I've got myself in a complete tizz about it. My daughter displays an unusual reaction of becoming upset/crying/hiding her face when anyone compliments her or gives her a gift. She also gets upset when strangers (anyone who isn't me or my husband, her grandparents or daycare teachers) talk to her or make eye contact. We also have extreme difficulty 95% of days getting her to let us change her nappy and/or get dressed without meltdowns. Has anyone experienced this with their kids?
