Help please!

Hiii, am advice will be amazing. My son is 6 months and 1 week. Am trying to do the BLW approach but I don’t know where am going wrong. So far he has had strawberries, watermelon and raspberries but through those dummy feeders. I did give him avocado as a finger food and mashed up. (He was not a fan) after one spoon full he was done. But I have realised when I put him in the high chair and the food infront of him. He’s not interested. He doesn’t not take it to his mouth. I eat with him, I talk to him, make big gestures but nothing. I have also tried purée, I guess he does have it because am putting it in his mouth but when I stop he’s crying straight away. I make sure to try and feed him when he’s not hungry for milk time or he’s too tired. I’ve tried different times of the day but still nothing. It just seems so unpleasant. Any help would be appreciated.

blw at first is quite hard i found with my baby he just felt the food and the different textures he didn’t eat anything at first so i continued with the bottle and didn’t pressure him and i think it was around a week or 2 later he started to put food to his mouth it’s definitely a lengthy process

That’s the thing he doesn’t even wanna feel it

he may just need time it’s all new just keep trying and eventually you’ll get a break through

My son is the same. One spoonful and he’s done. He’s only 8 days into weaning. Normal at this age
