Just found out today my son has a genetic disorder that causes physical anomalies as well as cognitive/developmental delays. Looking for support while I navigate these feelings.

I just joined like 3 different Facebook groups and my sister did some research for me. It just feels very overwhelming. Apparently this is really rare and only about 200ish people are diagnosed with this so research and understanding is very limited
Going through something similar. My younger daughter was diagnosed with a rare x linked syndrome that causes global developmental delay and a whole bunch of other stuff. Trying to navigate what this means but I’m here for support if you ever need
